360 Cameras

The Ultracker Aleta SC2

One of the key features of Aleta SC2 is its in-camera optical flow stitching.  For users who prefer to stitch with their own software, it is also possible to save the photo as five unstitched photos.

Aleta also features Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and High Dynamic Range (HDR )mode that blends and stitches two exposures automatically, and HDR mode (which is actually an exposure bracketing mode). The in-camera stitching and HDR mode will be particularly useful and convenient for virtual tour photographers.

FEATURES

The S2C is ergonomic. It has a beefy handle that’s easy to hold. On it is a shutter button, and above that are four equidistant lenses along with one that points to the zenith. Together, they produce 66-megapixel photos and 4K video. The Aleta SC2 includes one SD card slot. You can have the camera stitch footage together or save it as five separate files for editing on a computer later.

Extensive photo adjustment options are the best thing about this 360 camera. HDR is of particular note as it drastically improves picture quality. There are several levels of HDR, each upping the number of pictures that are taken and combined for the best results. Using HDR lets you preserve remarkable details and makes images shot either in glaring sunlight or during the night vibrant and inviting.
